January 24 2010  - Band Hold AGM.

Innerleithen Pipe Band held its AGM on Sunday 24 January 2010 in the Vale of Leithen Social Club. In a low-key affair attended by 16 of the band's members two committee members, Dorothy Gray and Tom Hamilton, resigned; four new committee members were proposed, Kayleigh Boyd, David Elder, Andy Lyon and Jim Docherty. The four new committee members were elected and the remaining five committee members were re-elected. Bruce Gillie and Andy Lyon were re-appointed Pipe Major and Drum Major respectively.  The position of Leading Drummer was left open as there were no candidates for the position following Callum Murdoch's resignation. Various other aspects of band business were discussed before the meeting was closed just after 2pm.

12 September 2010 - DRUM MAJORS TO THE FORE FOR TWEEDVALE PIPE BAND IN 2010!!

Whilst Tweedvale Pipe Band’s contest season was a non-starter due to the ongoing lack of drummers, the band’s presence was still felt on the contest circuit in 2010 through its Drum Majors Andy Lyon, who put in a full competitive season winning several prizes, and Aimee Forbes, who made a very successful debut in the Juvenile category.
